We have available to our clients a variety of boarding cages and runs to accommodate whatever size dog or cat you may own during the period of time that you may require this service.  Our caring, conscientious staff will ensure that your animals rest in a clean environment and that their needs are well attended.  The following list details Harmony Animal Hospital's boarding policy.

TO OUR CLIENTS THAT BOARD

 

To keep our kennel and your pets flea and tick free, we require the use of Frontline or Vectra. It will be applied on admission at an additional charge if not already in use.

 

Up-to- date vaccinations are required to stay in our kennel.

For dogs:    Rabies, distemper and bordatella (kennel cough)

For cats:     Rabies and distemper


You may bring your pets' food from home if you prefer and the food will be fed exclusively, albeit for an added charge.  We discourage the use of bedding from home.

 

If your pet requires medicating, please bring the medications with you.

 

For DIABETIC dogs the price will be the boarding fee plus a charge of Doctor & Nursing care that includes urine glucose check twice daily and insulin administration (Owner to supply insulin and syringes)

 

For DIABETIC cats the price includes urine glucose check twice daily and insulin administration. (Owner to supply insulin and syringes)

 

If your pet has not had a fecal exam (for intestinal parasites) in the past 12 months, we will need to ensure a negative fecal sample through testing. 

Should medical issues arise while your pet is here, it would be advisable to leave a contact number with us in case of emergency. Non-emergency medical conditions that may occur will be treated as necessary.

 

We also offer a WALKING service for our clients with dogs. For a small additional cost, your pet will be walked outside four times daily.

A complimentary bath is included before going home for our canine boarders who have been here seven or more days.

     

Please ask at the desk for our daily rates as they differ by species/breed, etc. The board rate is determined by the calendar day (no half days) and there is no discount rate for more than one animal boarding at the same time or in the same cage.
